Our Denomination

Covenant OPC belongs to the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, a Bible-beleiving Presbyterian church that began in 1936 under the leadership of J. Gresham Machen. You can find Orthodox Presbyterian churches throughout North America along with mission works around the world. The OPC also strives for greater unity with other Bible-believing Reformed and Presbyterian denominations.

Working with Others for the Gospel

NAPARC: The OPC belongs to the North American Presbyterian and Reformed Council, a body representing thirteen denominations. In Arizona, we work alongside our sister churches—the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), United Reformed Churches of North America (URCNA), and the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA)—in pastoral counseling, theological discussion, prayer, worship, mentoring, the transfer of members, and the starting of new churches.

ICRC: The OPC belongs to the International Conference of Reformed Churches. We pray for the global mission that we share with our brothers and sisters around the world, send missionaries to the field, and support foreign outreach financially through an annual offering to Worldwide Outreach.
